For the last goals that I had, I completed very little of them. I think that I might have given myself too many at once... Whoops. I think I'm going to write these down and tape them on my wall... Or bathroom mirror.
For the DVD's:
I have to watch these by myself. I CANNOT watch this by myself. I'm hoping to get a small TV or at least stereo in my room so that I can watch or listen to Parelli whenever I have time. My family is always covering the TV and as far as the Audio CDs go, I only get to listen to them in the car!... And there's always my whining, complaining little brother.
- I am in the process of watching the Level 3 Freestyle. I do need to finish that though.
- Go ahead and watch the whole Level 4 DVD set.
- Watch the whole Level 3 VHS set.
- Watch the On Line, Liberty, and Freestyle Patterns again.
For the handy woman's work:
- Start making jumps out of the materials we bought a year ago.
- Get some wood stain or paint for the new obstacles.
- Put the portable fence across the arena for Liberty
- Whenever I receive the pedestal or bridge plans, see if I can make a deal with Mr. Stuckey to cut the materials.
- Blow up the new Equi-Spirit ball
For the research:
- Natural hoof trimming
For the medical and care taking:
- Get the horses to release to the pressure of a toothpick on their necks
- Put yummy treats such as cinnamon applesauce or maple syrup in a syringe
- Put molasses on my finger and stick it in the horses' mouths
- Continue to play friendly with their udders and make sure that I can reach and clean their vaginal areas without problems
- Use Farrier Barrier daily
For the On Line:
- Get on a program with the patterns
- Take barrels and logs out into pasture
- Introduce Equi-Spirit ball to all
For Cherish:
On Line-
- Lead from chin, jaw, ear, tail, etc
- Jump barrels
- Umbrellas, tarps, jackets, plastic bags, noodles, flags, etc...
- More extreme friendly game
- More and more obstacles
- Stick to Me game
Liberty- (once the portable fence is across arena)
- Plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, jackets, noodles, flags, etc....
- Drive around without her leaving
- Transitions
- Circling Game
- Stick to Me game
Freestyle-
- Either accept or seek bit
- Canter, stop, get off
- Carrot Sticks- up, down, right, left, forward, back, and stop
- Circle with Casual rein, 4 laps at walk and trot
- More passenger lessons- in large field, with walk, trot, canter, halt, backup
The Patterns-
- (On Line) Touch it from 22' line
- (On Line) Figure 8 from 22' line
- (On Line) Weave from 22' Line
- (Freestyle) Follow the rail
- (Freestyle) Figure 8
- (Liberty) Circling
- (Liberty) Figure 8
For Hope:
- I won't do a list with Hope, because I need to be less worried about specifics with her and more worried about the abstract. She does not lead well and she tends to be pretty bad at responding quickly. I think that she is almost TOO desensitized to things.... I need to try to get her to be more of a partner, ask questions, and be more provocative.
For Finale:
- I won't do a list for her either. She tends to be very worried around humans in general but also has moments of aggravation and dominance. I need to get her to where she is more consistent in her reactions and is beginning to understand that we want to be her partner, not her predator.

Make me feel like a failure for not having any idea of what DVDs I should watch. Even though I know I need to watch alot of them.
Great idea to post your goals where you can see them on a daily basis. You might enjoy Kathy Pike's worksheets that I listed on my Parelli Central blog. Here is the link:
